Definition
The Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is the formal document in which a manufacturer declares that a product complies with all applicable EU legislation.
Why it matters
The DoC is the first document authorities and Amazon request during compliance reviews. A missing or defective DoC is among the most common reasons for enforcement actions.
What you need to do
A complete DoC contains: manufacturer details, product identification, applicable EU directives, harmonised standards, and the responsible person's signature. One DoC per product.
