My Fat Gorilla built a genuinely differentiated brand around sustainable bamboo products — with a growing community and real purpose behind every SKU. But going international on Amazon meant dealing with a patchwork of compliance requirements, VAT registrations, return flows, and warehouse logistics that no founder should manage alone.

Each new market came with its own legal framework, platform requirements, and operational complexity. The UK had UKCA. The USA had entirely different logistics. Every EU country had EPR. It was becoming a full-time job just to stay compliant — let alone grow.

Onboarding

My Fat Gorilla joined SPACEGOATS with a clear mission: take sustainable bamboo products global without drowning their small team in logistics and compliance. Onboarding covered all EU product requirements, initial VAT registrations in DE and AT, and EPR compliance from day one.

2022

3 → 5 Markets

SPACEGOATS expanded My Fat Gorilla's footprint from 3 initial markets into FR, ES, and IT. Full localization, marketplace listing setup, and compliance handling enabled rapid growth — without a single internal hire needed.

2023

UK & USA Entry

Cross-border expansion beyond the EU required a completely different compliance and logistics stack. SPACEGOATS handled UK VAT registration, UKCA marking, and international FBA shipment planning — launching both markets within weeks.
